1st Annual ACMH Youth Event

Living on the Edge ~ of Adulthood
1st Annual ACMH Youth Event will take place on Friday & Saturday, June 20-21, 2008 on the Campus of Michigan State University. This conference is for youth age 15-19. Attendees will learn strategies and practical skills to help them as they get ready to transition to Adult Living. There will also be a Poetry Slam, time to hang out and a chance to meet with other youth from across Michigan.

 

Parent Leadership Camp

Thursday & Friday, August 7-8, 2008 in Lansing
This training is free to parents and caregivers of children with serious emotional, mental, or behavioral challenges. This intensive skills training will help you prepare for leadership roles related to children's mental health. For more information, contact the ACMH state office at (888) 226-4543 (parent line). Children's Agenda 2008

In 2008, more than seventy Michigan Coalition for Families member organizations, including ACMH, called upon elected officials and business leaders to support investments in Michigan's children. Out of this call to action, came the 2008 Children's Agenda, which is now available online.
