ACMH membership means an opportunity to:
- Join ACMH in assisting
children and families in need.
- Share concerns and
feelings with others who understand.
- Receive assistance
with obtaining appropriate services for children with
potential or existing mental health problems and their
families.
- Join our ACMH
newsletter and special bulletin readers who receive the
latest information, including unmet needs and notices of
relevant agency and legislative activities, hearing,
public meetings, and other opportunities for promoting
children's mental health.
- Receive materials
including pamphlets and notices of conferences,
workshops, and other pertinent educational resources in
the State of Michigan.
- Participate in the
establishment of a local ACMH group which allows parents
to work together in conjunction with professionals and
interested citizens around children's mental health
concerns.
- Participate in state
and local program and policy developments relating to
children's mental health.
- Participate as a
voting member in ACMH priority, policy, and program
development and implementation.
- Seek election to the
ACMH Board of Directors.
