We believe that every child should be emotionally and physically healthy, live happily in their family, have friends, and be successful in their school and community. Every child should look forward to a bright future.

The purpose of the ACMH-SWD Family Center is to strengthen the capacity of families, schools, and community mental health systems to provide environments that are physically, socially, and emotionally nurturing and secure for all children in southwest Detroit.

Children's Agenda 2008

In 2008, more than seventy Michigan Coalition for Families member organizations, including ACMH, called upon elected officials and business leaders to support investments in Michigan's children. Out of this call to action, came the 2008 Children's Agenda, which is now available online.
