Come join ACMH at this Michigan Alliance for Families event to get tips for successfully supporting children and youth with emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges at school.
We will discuss
- How mental health can affect students in the school setting
- Ideas for supporting children’s mental health needs through IEPs or 504 Plans
- Partnering with mental health professionals.
We will also examine current statistics, common barriers to treatment and the importance of mental health awareness in the school setting.
Who should attend: Parents/family members, school and agency staff, community members who care about children with mental health challenges.
