WORTH1000WORDS TUTORIALS & RESOURCES

Are you interested in participating in our #Worth1000Words challenge but not sure where to start? We have compiled resources and tutorials to help you strategically share your story through photography! We will continue to update this page through the month of May and on our social media pages so keep checking back for more information and ideas!

Strategic Storytelling Resources

Sharing your story can help others understand your experiences, demonstrate why mental health matters, and create a connection with others with similar experiences. By sharing a piece of your journey or something you have learned along the way, you can be a source of hope, inspiration and support to other youth/young adults or families. But sharing can feel vulnerable – our experiences are significant and personal. Knowing how to share your story, what you feel comfortable sharing, and defining your purpose for sharing can help you get your message across in a way that has the most impact on your audience without causing you distress. Check out the links below for inspiration and tips for sharing your story strategically.
