Share your expertise, inspire attendees, and help advance children’s and youth mental health across Michigan.

ACMH is seeking engaging, informative, and inspiring presenters for our upcoming conference. We invite proposals that support children’s and youth mental health, family voice, youth-guided care, advocacy, peer support, systems change, and community wellness.

Before You Apply

We created a Presenter Proposal Planning Guide to help you prepare before starting the application. The guide includes submission requirements, learning objective examples, proposal tips, and a checklist.

What You’ll Need

  • Presenter Details – Name, title, organization, biography, contact information, and headshot.
  • Session Details – Presentation title, description, audience, format, and topic area.
  • Learning Objectives – Three measurable learning objectives describing participant outcomes.
  • Presentation Needs – Audio/visual needs, accessibility considerations, and room setup requests.

What Makes a Strong Proposal?

  • Practical tools and resources attendees can use immediately
  • Youth, family, caregiver, or lived experience perspectives
  • Family-driven and youth-guided approaches
  • Interactive activities and audience engagement
  • Innovative programs, promising practices, and lessons learned
  • Equity, accessibility, and inclusion

Proposal Review

Proposals are reviewed based on relevance to ACMH’s mission, alignment with conference goals, quality of learning objectives, audience benefit, practical application, and overall fit. ACMH hosts two conferences per year and multiple learning opportunities throughout the year. If your proposal is not selected, we may retain your information in our presenter database for future conferences, webinars, workshops, or speaking opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can I submit more than one proposal? Yes. Multiple proposal submissions are welcome.
  • Can I present with someone else? Absolutely. Co-presenters are welcome.
  • What if my proposal is not selected? You are welcome to request feedback, and we may consider your proposal for future ACMH opportunities.
