Corissa Pittman is a strong advocate for Disability Rights. They are an active Youth Ambassador, having completed 20 plus presentations to audiences as large as two hundred attendees. Corissa is an accomplished and experienced speaker on subjects such as Intersectionality, Gender Equality, Racial Inequality, Disabled Youth Employment, Representation of Stuttering in the Community, and Alternatives to Guardianship for Disabled Young Adults. Corissa embraces their lived experiences as a LGBTQIA+ individual with dyslexia, a person of color who stutters, has Kabuki Syndrome, and is a sibling of youth with disabilities.
