In partnership with the Association for Children’s Mental Health (ACMH), the Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) works to fight stigma, raise awareness, and educate state and local officials on issues youth are facing today.
YAC is a paid leadership opportunity for youth who are passionate about mental health and want to use their voice to make a difference! Apply below using either the digital form or PDF version of the application.
Why Apply for YAC?
Your voice matters! We partner with leaders and decision-makers who seek input from the YAC on various projects related to youth mental health and influence legislation that impacts the way things are currently done in our state
Learn skills! Being part of YAC is a great way to build leadership and advocacy skills
You can make a difference! YAC members are given a platform to speak on mental health advocacy and awareness efforts related to issues that matter to them
Get connected! YAC builds a community of youth and young adults committed to creating a positive change for young people with mental health experiences
Applications are due July 11, 2022. Space is limited. Members will be selected individually based on capacity and application responses.
