Who We Are Looking For
We welcome individuals with lived experience, professional expertise, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children, youth, and families impacted by behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Lived Experience
Parents, caregivers, family members, youth, or young adults with experience navigating children’s mental health systems.
Professional Expertise
Individuals with knowledge in mental health, education, healthcare, advocacy, public policy, nonprofit leadership, or related fields.
Community Leadership
People who value collaboration, inclusion, family-driven approaches, and meaningful systems change.
Board Member Expectations
- Participate in a new board member orientation.
- Attend quarterly Board of Directors meetings.
- Serve on committees or workgroups as needed.
- Support ACMH’s mission, strategic goals, and advocacy efforts.
- Act as an ambassador for ACMH within your community and professional networks.
